Badge Criteria

This FOUNDATIONAL level badge is equivalent to a 3-credit, master's-level course. A final grade of B or better is required to earn this badge.

1. Ability to identify ethical norms of research that promote integrity in science. 2. Describe and analyze the safety and integrity promoted by regulatory compliance of clinical trials to move a research product to clinical practice. 3. Analyze the challenges associated with new developments in technology and science application such as gene therapy, sequencing of DNA for diagnostic and prognostic purposes, and other selected emerging topics in biomedicine. 4. Gain proficiency in oral and written communication.
