Badge Criteria

This INTERMEDIATE level badge is equivalent to a 2-credit, master's-level course. A final grade of B or better is required to earn this badge.

1. Analyze and Apply Standards: Examine and apply the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards in the instructional practices specific to the learner's certificate area. 2. Design and Implement Instruction: Utilize Information about individual students' strengths and needs to design and implement effective instruction that promotes student learning and achievement. 3. Select and Analyze Student Work: Gather and analyze work samples from students to demonstrate growth over time, generating a written analysis of instructional choices and their impact on student learning.
