Badge Criteria

This INTRODUCTORY badge is offered to Hood College alumnae interested in experiencing an opportunity to up-skill or re-skill through Hood College's Skill Accelerator program. Participation in this introductory course is required to earn this badge.

1. Explain core generative AI architectures and contrast AI as co-pilot versus full collaborator. 2. Demonstrate basic code-generation workflows using AI to scaffold scripts, functions, or simple programs. 3. Apply prompt-engineering strategies to produce coherent text, synthetic audio clips, AI-generated images, and video snippets. 4. Outline a low-code or visual integration plan that connects generative models to existing data, development environments, and media tools. 5. Identify ethical, governance, and transparency considerations in deploying AI for software and multimedia creation. 6. Explain how reasoning models coordinate prompt decomposition and modality-specific components to generate and integrate multimodal outputs (code, audio, image, video).
