Badge Criteria

This FOUNDATIONAL level badge is equivalent to a 3-credit, master’s-level course. A final grade of B or better is required to earn this badge.

1. Understand the impact financial decisions have on creating value for the firm. 2. Demonstrate graduate-level knowledge of the concept of risk and its relation to value. 3. Show competency in quantitative tools and techniques that will aid managerial problem-solving and decision-making. 4. Demonstrate efficiency in using financial calculators and Microsoft Excel spreadsheet to solve quantitative problems. 5. Show proficiency in oral and written communication, analytical and critical thinking, and decision-making.
