The Systemic Change for School Improvement badge examines the literature on systemic change, with emphasis on models and strategies for use by school leaders to effect change at the individual, team, school and district levels. Topics include characteristics and dynamics of effective organizations, power and influence patterns in schools and communities as well as leadership roles in planning and managing school improvement. Learners apply concepts to effect change in the workplace.

This FOUNDATIONAL badge is equivalent to a 3-credit, master's-level course. A final grade of B or better is required to earn this badge.
