Badge Criteria

This INTERMEDIATE level badge is offered to career scientists that are exploring entrepreneurship. Participation in the two-day workshop and completion of all assigned exercises is required to earn this badge.

1. Understand the Laws of Entrepreneurship for biotech scientists. 2. Develop a scientific idea into a structured entrepreneurial plan. 3. Differentiate between a business plan and a business model and apply both effectively. 4. Craft a compelling story to influence stakeholders about a biotech idea. 5. Identify and evaluate entrepreneurial opportunities based on scientific research. 6. Apply commercialization strategies to translate research into marketable products.
