Offered by Hood College's Bioscience Research and Education Center (BREC), the Entrepreneurship for Scientists badge equips scientists with skills for bioscience and biotech entrepreneurship using a framework that guides learners through opportunity identification, business planning, funding, storytelling and commercialization. Through interactive lectures, case studies and exercises, participants will learn how to translate scientific discoveries into viable ventures.

Badge Criteria
This INTERMEDIATE level badge is offered to career scientists that are exploring entrepreneurship. Participation in the two-day workshop and completion of all assigned exercises is required to earn this badge.
